Club Officers

The club officers for the 2006-2007 year is as follows:

President:  Amelia DeLaquil.  This is her second year as president at Villa Julie, but she has previously served as the vice-president of Anne Arundel Community College's Biology/Environmental Science club. She has a biology associates from AACC and is currently a senior pursuing a chemistry BS with a biology minor at Villa Julie. Amelia enjoys cooking, art, gardening and dance. Her goals for the club are to start a campus-wide full-scale recycling program, involve the college with the Campus Climate Challenge (www.campusclimatechallenge.org), and educate the college community about environmental issues, personal action and renewable resources/clean energy. Vice-PresidentAmanda Gouin Sophomore nursing major; very interested in recycling, renewable resources, and the importance of protecting the rainforest and endangered species.

Secretary:  David Paul.  Elementary Education Major. I am mostly interested in Environmental Conservation and Preservation. Doing what we can in our small corner of the world.

Treasurer:  Laura Schaefer.

Public Relations RepresentativeJonathan Laney. I am currently in my Junior year in Villa Julie College, majoring in Film, Video and Theatre with a focus mainly in Film. I am currently working on getting pre-production together for a couple of short
features.
