Welcome Welcome Welcome Welcome
We would like to welcome all new BSU members as well as non members to our site. The Black Student Union is very important to us as well as the student body of Villa Julie College. African Americans are a minority on campus and may sometimes feel uncomfortable in this new environment as well as unnoticed. The
Black Student Union is an organization that strives to ease that
uncomfortable feeling as well as let you feel seen and heard.
The
Black Student Union allows students of all races to rejoice in African
American culture, lifestyle, history and activities. A few activities
that the BSU has brought to Villa Julie are The Annual Fashion Show
where both male and female students and non students of all races show
off today’s latest fashions, The Step Team where motion and rhythm take
flight, and the BSU’s Forum where students speak on everyday situations
and circumstance.
The
BSU has and will continue to make a profound impact on Villa Julie and
looks forward to having you join in our mission. We thank you for your
interest and hope your experience at Villa Julie is positive,
meaningful, and fun.
